1. Hang Zen

HANG ZEN

Matcha, a powdered green tea, was first used by the Japanese over a millennium ago. Remarkably, the monks relied upon matcha to keep them both focused and tranquil. Modern science is now able to corroborate the role of matcha in this ancient tradition, pinpointing the rare amino acid L-Theanine, which is heavily found in matcha, as the primary reason behind such a unique capability.

2. A Greater Mind

A GREATER MIND

Matcha is made from finely grounding whole tea leaves from the plant 'Camellia Sinensis' into powder, which is said to carry an amount of L-Theanine five times greater than any other tea. L-Theanine produces alpha waves in the brain, thus promoting greater concentration, serenity and awareness.

3. Boosts Your Metabolism

BOOSTS YOUR METABOLISM

If you're looking to lose weight, then matcha really is incredible. Not only does matcha green tea boost your metabolism, but it also helps you to eradicate fat. Through its unrivalled ability to up energy levels and encourage thermogenesis, matcha green tea proves a superior alternative to 'fast fixes' or 'crash diets'.

4. An Antioxidant Powerhouse

AN ANTIOXIDANT POWERHOUSE

When comparing the level of antioxidants found in superfoods, matcha clearly contains the highest amount (by a major lead). Matcha green tea is packed with powerful antioxidants, otherwise referred to as catechins or polyphenols, that contribute to the prevention of chronic diseases, help with anti-ageing and are renowned for their ability in fighting cancer. Of these polyphenols found in matcha green tea, EGCG (epigallocatechin-3-gallate) is deemed 'the most effective cancer chemopreventive polyphenol in green tea'. And since matcha green tea is actually made from whole leaves - you consume the biggest amount.

5. Cleanses Your Body

CLEANSES YOUR BODY

Matcha contains an immense chlorophyll content, which explains its vivacious and gorgeous green colour! Due to such, matcha green tea also works to naturally detox the body; eliminating potentially-harmful toxins and metals. Matcha green tea also promotes composure and peace from inside-out, helping you to focus on your goals.

6. It's Delicious

Not only is matcha highly nutritious, but it also tastes incredibly delicious!
